Perugina began in 1907 in the Umbrian hill town on Perugia. The young heir to Perugina, Giovanni Buitoni and confectioner Luisa Spagnoli created an assortment of fine chocolates that have withstood the test of time.
In 1922, Luisa created Perugina's now signature chocolate, Baci. The word 'Baci' literally means "kisses" in Italian.
Peel back the individual silver foil wrappings to find a creamy nutty semi dark chocolate surrounding a whole rich roasted hazelnut that arrives enveloped in a message of love (in four languages no less).
